On this day and everyday, I acknowledge the land I live on in Tkaronto (Toronto) is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Missisaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
Tkaronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. This land is protected by the "Dish with One Spoon" wampum belt inter-nation peace agreement. Subsequent Indigenous Nations and peoples, Europeans and all new comers, have been invited into this treaty in the spirit of peace, friendship and respect in which I am eternally grateful.
I specialize in translating human values into tangible experiences using systems, art and technology. When we allow values to act as a compass, it can guide our decision making and enable the outcomes we want to see emerge.
With an educational background in Design from YSDN, I lean on visual language and storytelling as proven tools that help turn complex information into accessible narratives people can understand.
Working-cross functionally for over a decade has allowed me to absorb deep knowledge in workflow frameworks and delivery methodologies for outcome driven operations. I have led and managed small scrum teams (less than 8 people) to large departments (up to 30 people).
